Ava walks well on leash although she does pull some when she smells something she needs to investigate. She should be fine with children who are big enough not to be knocked over if she jumps. Ava is looking for a forever home with a big fenced yard and some kids or a dog to run and play with and with a family that wants to give her the TLC and belly rubs she loves.

Do not forget to bring your pets inside when it is too cold outside. IF IT IS TOO COLD FOR YOU, IT IS TOO COLD FOR THEM! The law says: During cold weather, a dog shelter must have a windbreak at its entrance and have bedding material that is sufficient to protect the animal from cold and promote the retention of body heat.
